Laredo man loses arm after jumping off moving train on Baltimore Street

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – A 46-year-old man lost his arm after being injured by a moving train on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred around 5:00 pm in the 2000 block of Baltimore Street. The victim informed first responders that his arm had been severed by the train. His arm was amputated from the shoulder down.

The man stated that he was inside an empty cargo container and jumped off while the train was moving, and he was taken to a Laredo hospital in critical condition.
