Atlanta, DC Bars Showing Trump/Biden Debate, Playing Drinking Games

We spoke at several bars around Washington, DC and Atlanta – where the debate is taking place – and just like a major sporting event, the debate will be broadcast on multiple screens… even taking precedence over actual sports.

Some bars offer specials, like a $10 old-fashioned — probably a crack at the advanced age of the contestants. Other pubs offer signature cocktails and food for the night, and one D.C. pub takes it to the next level by hosting a drinking game for patrons.

It must be said that the Union Pub in Washington is likely to get quite wild tonight, given the rules of the game. For example, 2 sips every time a candidate says “inflation”, and each mention of Gaza requires 1 sip and the loss of a piece of clothing!

Drunk and naked could be the key words in Washington tonight!

The first debate of the 2024 election season has the attention of many Americans…with the nation roughly split in two according to the latest polling data.

Aggregated polling data from FiveThirtyEight currently shows former President Trump leading by a razor-thin margin – 41% to 40.9%, with third-party candidate RFK Jr. currently holding just over 9%.

RFK will not, however, join his fellow candidates on stage an interview he did with Dr. Phil will air just before the debate begins at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
