Motorcyclist killed in crash in southeast Portland – car identified

PORTLAND, Oregon (KOIN) — The motorcyclist who died after collided with a car in southeast Portland late Wednesday evening was identified, according to Portland police.

Shortly after 11 p.m., authorities said Phillip Taylor, 22, was driving south on Southeast 112th Avenue when he collided with a car traveling east on Southeast Flavel Street driven by a 66-year-old woman.


The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials say.

The accident is still under investigation, but no arrests have been made yet.
