Brave buffalo fights off five attacking lions who jump on his back

Tourists on safari in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve were treated to an epic showdown between a massive buffalo and five hungry lions. The attacking troop pursued its prey across the savannah before jumping on its back to shoot it down. But the brave animal wasn’t going to give up so easily. Footage from mid-July last year captured the incredible battle for survival.
