8 NA security officers suspended

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has suspended eight security officials after unauthorized persons entered Parliament.

The spokesman directed the sergeant to conduct an investigation against the suspended officers.

Sources said security officials were deployed at the main gate and allowed some people without ID cards to enter the building.

The unauthorized persons approached parliamentarians and tried to have their photos taken with them. Minister Khwaja Asif also complained to the Speaker about the incident.
