Man shot during attempted robbery near W. Sam Houston Pkwy

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to a shooting on Richmond Avenue around 9:30 p.m. at W. Sam Houston Pkwy.

They found a man with a gunshot wound to his arm. According to HPD, it appeared to be a robbery. The victim was shot and the suspect fled.

HPD Lt. JP Horelica said, “At this time the only suspicious description we have is two black males in a silver sedan.” If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact Houston Area Police.
