One person arrested after fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A man was arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday, May 21.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers received a call about a shooting near the 7300 block of NW 10th Street around 1 p.m.


MSgt. Gary Knight of the OKCPD said when officers arrived, they found a man, 36-year-old Randy Mills, in the middle of the road. Officers began performing CPR on Mills before he passed away.

According to officials, Mario Mason, 25, was arrested on Thursday, May 23, on charges of carrying or possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and first-degree murder.

Since the investigation is still ongoing, no further information is available.
