Silver Alert issued for 85-year-old with dementia missing in The Villages

THE VILLAGES, Florida. – According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, a Silver Alert was issued Friday for an 85-year-old man from The Villages.

In a news release, officials said the man – Tommy Stewart – was last seen near Nueno Leon Lane and Alcona Avenue in Lady Lake.

Stewart suffers from dementia and was supposed to drive a red Chevy Corvette with a tan roof, built in 2007, with the license plate “QBYN32,” according to the press release.

Furthermore, his height is described as approximately 1.75 m, his weight as 72 kg, his white hair, his brown eyes and his glasses.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office at (352) 793-2621, option 1.
