Redemption Camp—Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has warned preachers and youths to fear sexual immorality.

The clergyman, speaking during a sermon at the RCCG America 1 Ministers & Workers Conference, stressed that no anointing can resist such temptation.

Adeboye reveals how he resists sexual temptations

Adeboye, 82, admitted that despite his age and years as a clergyman, he still takes measures to resist sexual temptations, The Punch reported.

His words:

“Some people say, ‘Why are you still running at your age? I run faster than I used to because the closer you get to the finish line, the more careful you have to be.’

“Some of you may say, ‘Dad, what do you say, are you still running?’ I run fast.”

“‘With all your anointing?’ Does anointing turn your body to stone? Samson was anointed. He single-handedly killed a thousand soldiers. A woman finished him off. I hope the boys are listening.

“You can say, ‘Is anyone still interested in an 82-year-old man?’ She’s not interested in you; she’s interested in putting an end to all the great works God has done through you.”

Adeboye warns ministers and young people

Meanwhile, the RCCG leader cited the example of Samson, a biblical figure who fell into sexual immorality despite his anointing, as The Guardian also reported.

“Samson was anointed. He single-handedly killed a thousand soldiers. A woman finished him off. I hope the boys are listening,” he said.

Meanwhile, Nigerians reacted with mixed feelings to a statement by Pastor Adeboye about the categories of crazy people around the world.

In a video shared by Gbemi Denni on X on Monday, June 17, Pastor Adeboye explained that according to “the elders,” the madness is divided into three categories.

He said the first category includes those who walk around naked, adding that it is easier to identify people in such a category.
