Zach Bryan’s song “Revival” refreshes teenager in intensive care after accident

South Carolina teenager Trae Ocheltree was left critically injured and unresponsive in intensive care after a nasty car crash. Ocheltree suffered multiple broken bones, lacerations and a severe brain injury after the car he and his girlfriend were in was struck by another vehicle, throwing Trae from his vehicle. In an attempt to get him to show some signs of life, Ocheltree’s friends played him some of his favorite songs. Zach Bryan Songs, including “Revival,” to which Trae began to respond. Ocheltree squeezed his friend’s hand and tried to mime the lyrics of the song with his lips, filling his family with hope that he was slowly on the road to recovery. The family shared the uplifting, heartwarming moment on Facebook. Trae is now on the road to recovery and the teenager was given the same guitar that Zach Bryan plays as a replacement for the guitar damaged in the car accident. (Taste of the country)
