Woman seriously injured after shooting near homeless encampment – ​​WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — A shooting seriously injured a woman near a homeless encampment Sunday morning.

Around 6:10 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Pryor Street and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that there had been a fight between two men in the encampment, which resulted in gunshots and the woman being shot.

Police said the two men and the woman knew each other before the shooting.
