Gunshot death of Mississippi 2-year-old under investigation

ATTALA COUNTY, Mississippi (WJTV) – Authorities say a 2-year-old boy has died after an accidental shooting in Attala County.

Breezy News reported that the shooting occurred on Friday, June 14, around 7 p.m.

Attala County Coroner Sam Bell identified the victim as Isaiah Taylor. According to Bell, Taylor apparently died from an accidental discharge from a firearm.

Attala County officials said the investigation is ongoing.
