The heat wave will continue on Monday and the rest of the week. Maximum temperatures on Monday will again be around 35 degrees, the heat index will be around 38 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be hot and humid days, but mostly cloudy skies will lower the heat index somewhat. Although it will be cloudy, dry conditions are expected.

Thursday is the first official day of summer and it will feel like it too. Maximum temperatures will climb above 35 degrees and humidity will increase again.

Sun and clouds are expected on Friday. Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible. The maximum temperature in Nashville will again be around 35 degrees.

NEXT WEEKEND

Next weekend will be very hot with highs of around 35 degrees. With high humidity, the heat index could be over 38 degrees. Isolated showers are possible on Saturday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected on Sunday.
