Buffalo Bike Tours announces move to Canalside, expanded hours and updated bike fleet.

Over the years, a handful of people have helped change the face of biking culture in Buffalo. Marc Moscato of Buffalo Bike Tours is one of those people. With each passing year, Moscato expands its bike rental and touring business, which helps attract more and more cyclists to the road. 2024 is no exception.

Now in its sixth year of business, Moscato announced that Buffalo Bike Tours has moved its headquarters to Canalside (doubling its size), expanded its hours of operation and updated its bike fleet. Its new headquarters will be open to walk-in traffic from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., from May until October 31.

Here are some highlights:

On Saturday, May 18, starting at 11 a.m., Buffalo Bike Tours will present a new collaborative ride/tour Tour de Progress with Chris Hawley (Eugene V. Debs Hall) and the Central Terminal Neighborhood Association. The tour will travel through the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood, with visits to historic sites and new hot spots. Riders will have the opportunity to learn about current updates and exciting developments in the neighborhood, including local revitalization efforts. Entrance is free, with a suggested $20 donation and bike rental is available for an additional $20.

“We are confident this will be our best season yet,” said Moscato, founder of Buffalo Bike Tours. “Buffalo is an American story, and we can’t wait to share these fun and meaningful experiences with everyone.”
