Man dies of self-inflicted gunshot wound in Naugatuck: Police – NBC Connecticut

A man found dead in a Naugatuck home Saturday night died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

Officers responded to a house on Goldfinch Lane around 9 p.m.

They found the man dead and a woman with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, investigators assumed that there had been a domestic dispute between the man and the woman.

Based on testimony, evidence and an autopsy by the chief medical examiner’s office, it was determined that the man died from a gunshot wound, police said.

No fees are expected.
