The National Rugby League has taken strict action against alleged misconduct by Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam in Bali.

Their manager, Nash Dawson, has broken his silence on the ongoing investigation into Brisbane Broncos players.

On Friday, the club announced the shocking departure of coach Kevin Walters.

According to courier mail, Nash said in a statement: “The damaged phone was simply an accident in a crowded nightclub in Bali. A person’s phone was dropped and damaged. This person asked the player to pay for the damage and the player has already paid it.”

The investigation against the players was initiated due to a third party’s mobile phone that was allegedly damaged by the athletes.

Earlier this year, Reece decided to teach fans some basic social media etiquette and manners.

He wrote: “If you are over 10 years old and especially a mature adult and don’t use your manners when asked for a photo, don’t be shocked if you get a no.”

According to the reports, the NRL received a complaint about Reece and Ezra’s behavior.
