Buffalo’s starting cornerbacks will be Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford. Those two players have provided some stability during tough stretches for the Bills.

Buffalo has one of the best nickel cornerbacks in the game in Taron Johnson.

Behind them are several players who can step up when needed. However, long-term consistency has been an issue for those players. Former first-round pick Kaiir Elam, Cam Lewis and Ja’Marcus Ingram provide depth at cornerback.

DeQuan Hardy, Keni-H Lovely, Kyron Brown and Te’Cory Couch will battle for potential depth on the roster.

Taylor Rapp is expected to start at safety from the start of training camp this year. He will be joined by free agent Mike Edwards. The Bills selected Cole Bishop in the second round this year. The Utah product could make his way into the starting draft with a strong camp.

Behind them are Damar Hamlin, Dee Delaney and Kendall Williamson. Depending on how many safeties the Bills keep on their roster, only one of those three players could be selected.
