2 San Francisco motorcycle police officers injured in head-on collision in Potrero Hill

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Two San Francisco motorcycle police officers were injured in a head-on collision in the Potrero Hill neighborhood on Tuesday evening.

Video from our on-scene team showed officers being loaded into an ambulance at the corner of Cesar Chavez and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police told ABC7 News that initial information suggests the officers were hit by a speeding driver.

Both officers and the driver were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said investigations into the cause of the accident are currently underway.
