Teenager arrested for shooting in San Francisco near Civic Center on Tuesday night

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A juvenile suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting Tuesday night in San Francisco, San Francisco police said. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m. on McAllister Street near Market Street. One man was taken to the hospital.


A police investigation led to the identification of the suspect, who was tracked down and arrested by the San Francisco Police Department.

The shooting scene is just one block from the Civic Center/UN Plaza BART station.

The motive and circumstances of the shooting have not yet been disclosed.
