Season 6 of ‘The Circle’ was filmed in this Atlanta building

The circle is back for season six! The social media competition series has started rolling out on Netflix. And while fans are eager to see how an AI robot shakes things up this season, we’re focusing on where online catfishing takes place offline. All previous seasons of the series were filmed entirely in a building in Salford, England, where the international versions of The circle were also filmed. But for season six of the American version, production took place in Georgia. Find out everything we know about the new filming location and how it was transformed for the series below.

Where was The circle Season 6 filmed?

The production team took over several apartments in Survey Midtown South in Atlanta for the sixth season of The circle. The building essentially functions as a hotel but with flexible stays in apartment-style units. Guests can book a stay for a few nights, weeks or even months, but fans won’t be able to enjoy the lively setting Exactly as seen on screen. The units, as well as the exterior and some common areas, received a major colorful makeover for the series. The goal was to create “DIY, Pinterest-y, Instagram vibes” in certain rooms, says showrunner and executive producer Susan House. Magnificent house.

To start, each room was given a bright, saturated color palette. “It was a bit of a color soup for a few weeks,” says artistic director Karen Weber. “Then (we attached) objects, textures and patterns to those color combinations, and then we incorporated a theme as well.”

From a Barbie-inspired unit to a laundry room Wes Anderson would approve of, the resulting transformation is bursting with whimsical inspiration. The best part? Many updates are tenant-friendly, including vinyl coverings used to transform cabinets, countertops and balcony railings to glass. Clever color blocking with paint proves that this simple and cost-effective method can completely change the atmosphere of any room.

The production team even landscaped the building’s courtyard by designing a circular trellis with lights and a hot tub in the center. The neighborhood has been enveloped in greenery to liven it up.

If fans book a stay, they can expect a completely different look. In reality, the units are sleek and modern. They sport a neutral color palette with subtle pops of color throughout. Many amenities (except the hot tub) remain the same, however. Guests can enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, outdoor space with a grill, fitness center, lounge area, work space, and in-unit laundry facilities. This is a great setup for a starting rate of $83 per night!
