ATLANTAPower was cut Sunday evening to part of the Atlanta airport.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport tweeted that power was out between gates B24 and B36 after an airline contractor punctured a power line.

About an hour later, airport officials announced that power had been restored and all affected gates and concessions were operational.

This is just the latest in a series of problems reported across metro Atlanta over the weekend.

Several water main breaks were reported in the city on Friday, impacting residences and businesses, including medical centers.

Many events, like concerts on Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl summer tour, had to be postponed while repairs were underway.

The outage at the airport was not related to ongoing water service problems.
