You can still see Zoo Atlanta’s pandas before they leave – 95.5 WSB

ATLANTA — Zoo Atlanta is reminding guests that you can still see giant pandas before they leave.

Last month, the zoo announced that the pandas would leave for China at the end of 2024.

Luckily, even if you can’t come in person, you can still watch the pandas live through the zoo’s panda camera.

Lun Lun and Yang Yang got their start at Zoo Atlanta 25 years ago.

Twin pandas Ya Lun and Xi Lun were born at Zoo Atlanta in September 2016.

The rest of the year, Zoo Atlanta is the only place you can see giant pandas in the United States.

China has decided not to renew loan agreements at three other zoos in San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Memphis, Tennessee, in recent years.
