Houston police seek answers in suspicious death of man

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Police Department is trying to figure out how a 36-year-old man died. According to a press release from the City of Houston, HPD is awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.

On May 28, Houston firefighters responded to a home at 790 West Little York after a family member found the unidentified man unconscious in his bedroom and called 911. He was pronounced dead on the spot.

The victim’s family told police two days earlier that he had returned home and appeared to have been attacked. Family members added that he did not have his usual personal belongings with him, which was out of character.

The investigation is ongoing while the man’s cause of death is determined through an autopsy.
