ORLANDO – Kickoff for UCF’s nationally televised Big 12 home opener against Colorado has been postponed due to a lightning strike.

According to the university’s Fan Experience social media account, the earliest the game will begin is 4:05 p.m. The start was originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m

Pregame warmups will resume after a 30-minute period during which there is no lightning in the area.

After a sunny morning there was already a rain shower in the afternoon.
