Highway 54 closed after rollover accident in Daviess County.

DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) – Highway 54 is closed to traffic following a crash Tuesday afternoon in Daviess County.

This is according to a statement from Sheriff Brad Youngman, who tells us that the incident happened between Collier and Stillhouse Road.

According to Sheriff Youngman, a vehicle traveling eastbound was struck by an oncoming vehicle that crossed the center line.

According to officials, one of the vehicles involved ended up upside down in a large ditch.

Officials say Highway 54 is closed and is expected to remain closed for some time while rescue crews work to recover the car.

Sheriff Youngman says there do not appear to be any serious injuries.
