Road accident: Father and son killed in road accident | Chandigarh News

Jalandhar: A father-son duo was allegedly crushed to death by a dumper truck near Khalsa School on Nakodar Road on Wednesday morning. The victims are 42-year-old Jasbir Singh and his 16-year-old son Karman Singh. They hail from Heran village and were on their way to a vegetable market to buy vegetables for a family wedding function. CCTV footage of the accident shows the bike-riding duo hitting a pedestrian and falling on the road after losing their balance. As soon as they fell on the road, they were crushed by a dumper truck moving to their right. Heaps of garbage on the roadside to the left of the father-son duo seemed to be encroaching on the space on the busy road. The dumper truck driver tried to flee but was caught by the people at a distance. TNN
