Alan D. Sapoznik, 28, of the 1200 block of Sandhurst Drive, Buffalo Grove, had a Lake County bail warrant and was arrested at 4:26 p.m. May 16 in the block of 1200 houses of Sandhurst Drive. He was taken to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office jail.

FAILURE TO COMPARISON

Pedro Gomez Gonzalez, 40, of the 1400 block of Perry Street, Des Plaines, had a Cook County warrant for failure to appear and was arrested at 12:02 a.m. May 19 in the block of houses 3100 of N. Arlington Heights Road. . Gonzalez was initially stopped for having heavily tinted windows, for which he received a citation.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

Police responded to Woodman’s Grocery Store, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, at 7:30 p.m. on May 17 for a report of a retail theft. A customer was caught scanning some items, but not scanning others and putting them in her bag. In total, she allegedly failed to scan 23 items, totaling $142.69, before putting them in her car without paying. She received a summons and a trespassing warning.
