Appleton man arrested for 4th offense operating under the influence

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – An Appleton man was arrested Sunday night for what appears to be his fourth DUI offense, according to authorities.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region Fond du Lac Post, a Wisconsin State trooper stopped a 2018 Nissan Rogue on Interstate 41 south of Scheuring Road for a speeding violation at 5:52 p.m.


Officials say the officer made contact with the driver, 33-year-old Colton Lentz of Appleton, and observed signs of impairment.

Lentz reportedly refused to participate in standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for his fourth offense of operating under the influence.

According to authorities, the incident is currently under investigation and the results of legal blood sampling are pending.
