GEORGIA — The ongoing election subversion case against former President Donald Trump and 18 others in Fulton County will be chronicled in a new documentary, the BBC recently announced.

The film, “State of Georgia vs. Donald J. Trump,” was announced by BBC executives at the Sheffield Documentary Festival in South Yorkshire, England, the outlet reported. Marian Mohamed will direct the documentary, produced by Emmy Award-winning 72 Films.

“State of Georgia” is based on the controversial Trump election interference case prosecuted by Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis’ office. Trump and 18 others, including top federal and state officials, are accused of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Trump, who maintains his innocence and was recently convicted in a hush money case in New York, faces a series of racketeering and election interference charges in Atlanta.
