ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Johns County Fire Department lieutenant and his wife were found dead in their St. Augustine home on June 13, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said.

The victims were identified as St. Johns County Fire Rescue Lieutenant Shawn Yarbrough and Andrea Nicole Yarbrough. News from First Coast reported.

Authorities said Shawn Yarbrough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while Andrea Yarbrough’s death, also from a gunshot wound, was ruled a homicide.
