Route 1 in Baileyville closed on Calais side due to police incident

BAILEYVILLE, Maine (WABI) – The Washington Regional Communications Center says Route 1 in Baileyville is closed on the Calais side of the Baileyville Big Stop due to a police incident.

Washington RCC is asking drivers to use alternative routes.

They say that traffic coming from the airline (Route 9) cannot turn right and traffic coming from Calais cannot access Route 9.
