An accident on I-81N in Montgomery County left the northbound lane traveling 3 miles

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the northbound lane of I-81 in Montgomery County has been cleared.

Traffic in all lanes is now running normally.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says a multi-vehicle crash is currently occurring on Interstate 81 Norther near mile marker 124 in Montgomery County.

Traffic is currently backed up for approximately 3 miles and the northbound lane is closed. Motorists should expect delays until further notice.
