Eddie Goldman ‘gets back on the bike’ as he enters Atlanta Falcons OTAs

Fox 5 Atlanta’s Justin Felder reported that Atlanta Falcons tackle Eddie Goldman is ready to “get back on the bike” as he makes his return to OTAs in Flowery Branch…again.

“I always wanted to come back, especially seeing the season go by and having that experience of being in a season, with ups and downs, I wanted to come back… It’s like getting back on a bike after not having done it (ridden) for a long time. There are some things that take getting used to, but I’ll get used to it.

Felder reports it was a “personal situation he does not want to discuss publicly” that led to his retirement in 2022 and his departure before training camp in 2023, but after a meeting with head coach Raheem Morris, he decided to come back.

Goldman projects to be one of the only pure tackles the Falcons have on the roster with help from David Onyemata, Ruke Orhorhoro and perhaps Zion Logue if he can make the roster.
