The beautiful weather continues for a while

The rain is gone, but the pleasant air remains a little longer. By the start of your Tuesday, we’ll be dropping into the 50s at most locations. Look for patchy, dense fog as the wind dies down. Highs will climb back into the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday, with humidity remaining low. Another round of fog could develop as we begin our Wednesday. Highs will approach 90 degrees on Thursday and Friday, with humidity making it feel hotter. Storms and showers could begin to keep temperatures under control starting Friday, with more chances through Memorial Day weekend. Like last week and last weekend, chances are scattered and highest in the late afternoon and evening. Heavy rain and lightning are the main dangers, but we are vigilant for signs of severe weather. Don’t cancel your vacation plans. Just be prepared that there may be rain delays at times.
