Serious accident in Pittstown is being investigated

The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious accident in Pittstown.

It happened on State Route 7 near the Tomhannock Reservoir.

At least one person was injured in the accident, investigators said.

While emergency services were on site, Route 7 was closed.

The road is open again.
