Three minors die, one is injured in rollover accident

TROY, Texas (KWTX) – Three people are dead and one is in the hospital with unknown injuries after a rollover crash.

On Monday at 5:45 p.m., Troy police officers were called to a vehicle crash on the IH-35 access road at mile marker 312.

According to police, all four people in the vehicle were under 18 years old and were thrown from the vehicle in the accident.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene. One patient was taken to Baylor Scott and White Hospital with unknown injuries.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling south on the service road when it left the road and overturned.

Police say the victims cannot be identified until distant relatives have been notified by their respective families.

The accident is still under active investigation.
