8 Fulton County establishments fail health inspections in April

And now Atlanta has brought back our monthly health inspection column to inform diners and help businesses find solutions to common health and safety issues they may encounter during their operations.

Inspections consider foodborne illness risk factors, defined as “the food preparation practices and employee behaviors most commonly reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as contributing factors to foodborne illness outbreaks.” food origin. Good retail practices are also considered during inspections, described as “preventative measures to control the introduction of pathogens, chemicals and physical objects into food.”

Some violations are corrected on-site during the inspection, while others have a time frame to be corrected. Please note that these scores are from specific inspections from April 2024 and may not represent a facility’s current health inspection status.

Eight Fulton County facilities received a failing grade of “U” (69 points or less out of 100) on health inspection in April 2024, making it the worst month so far this year. Seven failed inspections in January, four in February and three in March.
