The Italian Grand Prix was one of the most eventful weekends of the season so far and had a significant impact on the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships.

Max Verstappen only managed sixth place in Monza, while title rival Lando Norris was unable to convert pole position into a win and finished behind local hero Charles Leclerc and teammate Oscar Piastri.

There were also other frustrating moments for Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton complained about his skills in qualifying and George Russell sustained damage in a collision with Piastri on the first lap.

Before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the gap between Red Bull and McLaren is only eight points, while Norris is 62 points behind Verstappen in the drivers’ standings.
