Police are investigating a triple murder in Ridgeland

Ridgeland police and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation are at a crime scene on Old Canton Road, not far from the intersection with Rice Road, investigating a triple homicide.

There are very few details, but Police Chief Brian Myers said three people were fatally shot. The call came in around 3:30 p.m. The victims were from the same family but would not be immediately identified, he said.
