Estel Fate “Cork” Houston

Mr. Houston was born November 8, 1936 in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late Amos Houston and Oma Lee (Brown) Houston.

Cork served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Houston; nephew, David Selby (Wanda); and great-niece, Brandi Yarbough.

In addition to his parents, Cork is preceded in death by his brothers, William Houston, Ervin Houston and Tom Houston; and sister, Marie Selby.

Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Big Lick Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
