On Wednesday, August 21, at approximately 4:29 a.m., 38-year-old Tony Charles Turner drove his truck off the roadway on State Road 20 near NW Melvin New Grade Road, causing the other vehicle to roll over several times, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.

During the rollover, the driver of the other vehicle was thrown from the car and injured. After the accident, according to investigators, Turner got out of his car and began hitting the victim because he was unable to defend himself.
