Hawaii Island Police are asking the public for help in locating 18-year-old Kainalu Kawaakoa Bergau, who was initially reported as a runaway and is now “of legal age” (18 years old). Kawaakoa Bergau was last seen in Hilo on Monday, January 22, 2024, leaving a residence on Kinoole Street without permission.

Kawaakoa Bergau is described as being approximately 5’6″ tall and weighing approximately 165 pounds. He has brown skin, black hair, and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna districts.
