Red Dead Redemption 2 gets Bounty Hunter expansion that you can download for free

There aren’t many games as engaging as Rockstar Games’. Red Dead Redemption 2a game that is considered one of the best of all time, and that’s saying something considering it comes from the developer of Grand Theft Auto.

Despite the number two in the name, the year 2018 is Red Dead Redemption 2 is the prequel to the 2010 western hit starring the lovable, somewhat corrupt John Marston. Red Dead Redemption 2The 40 Fingers stars Arthur Morgan, a leading member of the notorious Dutch Van der Linde gang, a group of outlaws that includes John Marston.

Aside from the incredible story that will captivate you from start to finish (and maybe shed a few tears), Red Dead Redemption 2 was praised for its huge, vibrant open world, varied side activities, interesting characters and entertaining gameplay. On the aggregate website Metacritic Red Dead Redemption 2 received the well-deserved score of 97 and established himself as one of the best.

How on earth do you make this Rockstar Games gem even better, I hear you ask? Well, thanks to the dedicated modding community, talented indie developers continue to breathe new life into the games we love and Red Dead Redemption 2 is no exception.

Among the many side activities that Red Dead Redemption 2 has to offer are its Bounty Hunter missions. As Arthur Morgan, you hunt down the Wild West’s most wanted men and women (except for Arthur, it seems) to earn money that you can spend on new weapons and cosmetics or drink at the bar. A mod is now available for free via NexusMods that enhances the Bounty Hunter experience even further.

The mod in question is called Bounty Hunting Dialogues and it does pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. This may seem like a simple mod, but in my opinion it’s often the most subtle tweaks that can make the biggest difference.

“Dive deeper into the Wild West with Bounty Hunting Dialogues (Arthur Edition), a mod designed to enrich your gaming experience in RDR2”, says the mod’s description. “This mod was developed with a focus on immersion and improves interaction with Sheriffs through dynamic dialogue exchanges.”

Going further into what the mod has to offer, its creator RedPeds says on the NexusMods page that he added a new prompt that makes it easier for you to start conversations with sheriffs to ask them if there are any bounty hunter missions available. In addition, the modder suggests combining this mod with “Bounty Hunting – Expanded and Enhanced” for a more immersive experience.

Unfortunately, “Bounty Hunting Dialogues” and “Bounty Hunting – Expanded and Enhanced” – like most mods – are only available for the PC version of the game. The rest of us have to make do with Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation and Xbox as originally intended.
