HPD searches for hockey-loving burglary suspect in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Police are searching for a robbery suspect identified only by wearing a hockey jersey in southwest Houston.

On Monday, April 22, HPD learned that an unknown suspect had burglarized a building in the 12700 block of Hillcroft Avenue in southwest Houston. During the course of the crime, investigators also learned that the suspect had broken into the same building several times. The suspect stole approximately $4,500 from the building and fled.


The description of the suspect is as follows:

  • Black male,
  • was wearing a white and yellow Pittsburgh Penguins hockey jersey at the time of the crime.
