Three San Jose murder suspects have been arrested

(KRON) – A murder investigation stretched from San Jose to Livermore and Hayward to Oakland before investigators arrested a trio of suspected killers.

The victim was fatally shot on Tully Road on the night of October 25, 2023. Over the next few months, investigators said they were able to identify three suspects: Saran Moeun, Chhorn Than and Vu Hung Le.

On March 26, the San Jose Police Department’s undercover unit found 34-year-old Moeun in Oakland and 35-year-old Than in Livermore.

Officers served search warrants at the suspects’ homes in Oakland and Hayward and seized several firearms and ammunition. Moeun and Than were arrested and taken to a Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of murder.

On May 3, CRU members found and arrested suspect Le, 35, in San Jose. Le was also sent to prison.

“The motive and circumstances of the incident remain under investigation,” SJPD wrote. The victim’s name has not been released by law enforcement.
