Buffalo man admits to producing child pornography

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Authorities say Michael Bevill, 36, engaged in sexual conduct with a minor child under the age of 12 between June 2022 and August 2023.

He admitted to sedating the child before taking photos and videos of himself repeatedly sexually abusing them. Bevill then allegedly used the messaging app Telegram to send pornography to another person.

Bevill faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

His sentence has not yet been set.
