The suspected knife attacker from Geneva turns himself in to the police

GENEVA, NY – A convicted felon was back in prison Friday night, accused of a stabbing in Geneva.

Michael A. Sapp is charged with first-degree assault and third-degree illegal possession of a weapon. Police say he stabbed a man in his car on Elmwood Avenue Wednesday morning. The man is expected to survive the incident.

According to police, Sapp turned himself in at the public safety building in Geneva.
