Investigation underway after suspected drowning of 18-year-old in Haverhill Pond – Boston News, Weather, Sports

HAVERHILL, MASS. (WHDH) – Authorities are investigating after an 18-year-old man apparently drowned in Plug Pond in Haverhill on Sunday.

Rescue crews who responded around 1:30 p.m. to a report that a teenager had entered the water and was not missing were assisted by state police and dive teams from Beverly, who found the man underwater about 30 feet from shore around 3 p.m.
