Houston Humane Society hosts event for evacuated pet owners

HOUSTON (KIAH) – The Houston Humane Society is hosting a drive-thru disaster relief distribution event to help pet owners who were affected by last week’s storms. The nonprofit organization, which is one of the city’s largest animal shelters, wants to spread the word about what it is doing to help families and animals in need during this difficult time. They will distribute dog and cat food to those in need at Santa Fe High School.

Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. and will remain open while supplies last.
