Driver hospitalized after rollover crash Friday – KQEN News Radio

The driver was taken to hospital after a rollover accident on Friday afternoon.

According to Roseburg police, the large SUV was traveling westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard shortly after 3:15 p.m. when it overturned and landed in the parking lot of a business in the 3300 block, where it struck a parked vehicle. Roseburg Police Chief Gary Klopfenstein said the cause of the accident is unknown.

Klopfenstein said the driver was responsive but appeared to be seriously injured. She was taken by ambulance to CHI Mercy Medical Center. Klopfenstein said the woman may need to be transferred to a medical facility outside the area.

Both the SUV and the vehicle involved in the accident were towed from the scene.
